Adam Grydehøj (Ph.D. in Ethnology, University of Aberdeen) studies the intersection of culture, politics, and economy in urban and island spaces. He is Research Director at the City Facilitators urban governance and development consultancy, Executive Editor of 'Island Studies Journal', Director of the Island Dynamics research organization, Academic Advisor at South China University of Technology's Research Center for Indian Ocean Island Countries, and Adjunct Faculty member at University of Prince Edward Island's Institute of Island Studies.
